The 12 month Know and Network (KAN) project by the European Social Fund (ESF)is based at Salford Business School (University of Salford) and is conducting research into women's business opportunities and advancement.
They are addressing the under-representation of women in IT, resulting in a lack of access to mentoring and support.  They encourage women to get involved with KAN and meet others from the IT industry; to use the KAN network to construct their professional identities and networks online, featuring blogs to share knowledge and ideas.  If you would like to become a member of the Know and Network online community visit their site here.

KAN would like you to tell them what you think about social networking (blogs and blogging).  The survey should take no more than 10 minutes and your identity is anonymous. Login here to take part.
