Tell us about your business or position:

I provide non-surgical aesthetic procedures from the comfort of my home-based treatment room. The procedures I specialise in are permanent makeup, gel peels and skin micro needling. I am soon to be introducing IPL laser for hair removal and skin rejuvenation, thread veins and sun damage.

What achievement in your career/business are you most proud of?

I won Holistic Therapist of the Year in 2001. A competition run by Today's Therapist magazine.

• Always carry your business cards.
• Go on as many training courses as you can. I find this a great place to network.
• Take advantage of the Forward Ladies networking events.

Ghandi - "Be the change you want to see in the world". He believed in human rights, equality and peace. To be in the presence of someone so wise would be an amazing experience.

What important lesson has life taught you?

Be tolerant of others and never judge. No one truly knows what another person has gone through unless they have walked that path themselves.

Your thoughts on the future of the economy

I am a great believer in the power of positive thinking!

What benefit have you or your business gained by being a Forward Ladies member?
