Deirdre Bounds is one of Yorkshire's foremost entrepreneurs. She started the ethical travel company, i-to-i in 1995 which was recently acquired by the TUI Group PLC. She now acts as a business angel and mentor to start ups as well as supporting a number of local and international charities.

Margaret Wood

Margaret Wood is the founder and Managing Director ICW (UK) Ltd a company which designs and manufactures window systems for Industry. Margaret was runner up in the Female Inventor of the Year in Industry in 2003 with a revolutionary touch sensitive window opening mechanism. She is passionate about developing skills and enterprise in the business arena for women as well as their professional and personal development.

Carl Hopkins

Carl Hopkins. A marketeer for more than 23 years, he sold his agency JDA in 2007. This entrepreneur has since invested in an online initiative to raise money for charities and a Job portal helping public and private sector bodies place people in the labour market. Carl is also non-exec Chairman of a Manchester based Media company, while running his own business development consultancy, kloog.

Sue Kenny Sue Kenny is one of the original Forward Ladies and is now a “Womens' Ambassador” for the Region. She is a successful HSBC Manager with 33 years experience in the financial sector. Through her work at HSBC, Sue has been able to develop and support many of the female staff and is now looking forward to using those skills as a mentor through Forward Ladies.
