WGN ACCOUNTANTS LAUNCH NEW BRAND IMAGE AND WEBSITE

17/03/2011

Leeds-based accountancy firm Winburn Glass Norfolk (WGN) today launched a new brand image created around the concept of ‘Strength In Numbers’ along with a new website showcasing their full range of services. This is the first upgrade of their website for a number of years and the firm, founded in 1974, are proud of their new image.

WGN are well known for their work with local entrepreneurs and have a track record of innovative business practices. As early as the 1970s they developed a novel business model whereby, in appropriate circumstances, they offered to “roll-up” fees on the understanding that they would be paid at some point in the future when the client’s business was successful. They continue this practice today and many local businesses have benefited from their unique approach.

Colin Glass, founding Partner at WGN, says: “WGN has a long and successful history of serving the region’s businesses and entrepreneurs, going further to find unique ways to help them develop and grow. We wanted our new brand image and website to reflect the work we do with start-ups and SMEs who often need the most help to develop their ideas, seize opportunities and reach their full potential. We combine with our clients’ teams to work as a seamless part of their business, offering strength in numbers, which is vital to smaller enterprises as they tackle the challenge of growing their businesses.”

One client who has benefited from WGN’s ethos of strength is numbers is Inertius Limited, a privately owned company formed to commercialise the inert anode technology developed at the University of Leeds. Richard Wright MBE, CEO of Inertius says: “WGN acted as our financial officers and accountants through the start up and development of our company. They were fantastic and acted like an employee with a personal involvement. This is a company who do not work to pre-determined agendas - they do what they can to help and what is necessary for the company - and were as focused as ourselves in making the company a success. They have been real partners to us.”

WGN offer a range of accountancy advice and support for small and large businesses including personal and company taxation services and planning, pensions saving and investments advice. For more details of the services see: www.wgn.co.uk.
