The South of Italy produced all the great wines of the Ancient World but since the Middle ages the wines have been neglected and overlooked for the wines of the North, such as Barolo and Amarone.
But watch this space as the Southern Italians are really 'putting the boot in' to their haughty Northern compatriots.
From the fruit driven wines of the 'New World of Italy' Sicily to the intense flavouful reds from 'the heel' of Italy Puglia, the South offers a panoply of varieties and flavours unequalled anywhere else in the world.
This is a 50/50 event, so bring along your male colleagues or other halves and enjoy a taste of Italy, with a 10% discount of any orders placed on the night.
