  • Daily Mail Opportunity

    03/01/2012

I’m a journalist writing a piece for the Daily Mail about how women’s decisions not to have children affects their own mothers. So – I am looking to speak to three mothers of women in their late 30s / 40s who have decided not to have children. Are these women disappointed at not becoming grandmothers? Have they talked to their daughters about how they feel? Anyone who spoke to me would need to be pictured, have a chat with me on the phone and would be paid £200 for their time. I would also be able to mention what they did for a living so an opportunity to promote their business. We wouldn’t want it to be a one sided account and would be more than happy to include quotes from the daughter as well explaining their decision. Please feel free to contact me at antonia@antoniahoyle.com if you are interested or would like any more information.

Merit and ability should be driving board appointments, according to Deloitte research.

Two thirds of senior businesswomen in the North West are against the introduction of compulsory gender quotas in the boardroom. Instead, the majority believe that appointment to the board should be based on merit, experience and ability, rather than regulation.
