Forward Ladies' member in Women 1st Top 100

The managing director of a Leeds-based consultancy, Lynn Webster Consultants Ltd, has been named as one of the top 100 most influential women in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industry.

The list was announced by Women 1st, an initiative from People 1st, the sector skills council for hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism at a prestigious event at London’s Savoy Hotel.

Lynn Webster, currently Chair of the British Institute of Cleaning Science, listed alongside the likes of award winning, Michelin star chef Angela Hartnett MBE and Nigella Lawson, is cited for her work with LOCOG, the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, for establishing professional opportunities for housekeepers at the 2012 Olympics.

Lynn is delighted with the recognition, “Women hold a pivotal place in the hospitality sector, and initiatives such as Women 1st help to acknowledge the importance of training, mentoring and practical support.”

Lynn established Lynn Webster Consultants Ltd seven years ago, and offers awards-based cleaning training, management and audit consultancy to businesses and organisations in health, hospitality, retailing and cleaning across the UK.
