New Online Business Resource: The Forward Ladies Hub

As part of our commitment to support women we are in the process of developing a new online resource.

This will not only benefit members in terms of providing business information that they can access but it will give them an opportunity to showcase their own expertise by contributing to it. We are in the process of developing the Forward Ladies Hub now but we’re already inviting members to contribute content to the site and get on board with it in these early exciting stages!
We’re now appealing to members to submit their content, see below for all the information you need.

What is the Resource Hub?

The Forward Ladies Resource Hub is an online hub for a range of business resources that can be accessed 24/7. The Hub will contain guides, advice, briefings, tips and training materials on a range of business topics relevant to women in business. It is also the home for the Forward Ladies blog, news stream and image gallery.

Who can access the Resource Hub?

Some areas of the Hub are available publicly – the news and blog, the image gallery, external relevant content and public resources (briefer guides and tips can be read and digested quickly to give an overview of the topic). Other areas are only available to Forward Ladies members – recordings of webinars, materials from Forward Ladies events and premium resources (those that are more in depth and provide a deeper understanding of the topic).

How does the Resource Hub add value?

The Resource Hub is an added benefit for members in that it is a business resource that is available whenever it is needed. It offers information on a range of business topics and supports the work we do for women in business through our other services including events, webinars, awards, mentoring etc. We understand that professional women are busy and need access to information and advice in a format that is available on demand, from a range of high quality sources and can be consumed in a timely manner. That is what the Resource Hub aims to do. While there is a good level of content that anyone can access, premium content is reserved as a privilege for Forward Ladies members.

What content we are looking for

We are looking for contributions on any topic that is relevant to women in business. This may include business areas such as finance, marketing, sales, HR, business planning etc or it may be about other areas that women in business experience and are interested in such as juggling running a business with being a parent, getting the best out of mentoring, networking skills or time management etc. It can be in a ‘how to’ format, a guide or a more informal blog-type post but it must be of value to other women in business.

You can submit content for the public area or the member only areas. Please see the guidelines for content for further information.

Who can contribute content?

Only Forward Ladies members or those who have led events for Forward Ladies can contribute to the Resource Hub.

The benefits of contributing to the Hub

Publishing your own materials and content on our Resource Hub provides you with an opportunity to position yourself as an expert in your field and share some of your knowledge with fellow business women. It’s a great platform for you and your business and all contributors receive full credit for their content and a link to their website. If you submit premium member only content, ie something that provides more depth, detail and value to the reader, then you also receive a profile listing in our Contributors’ Directory and the opportunity to appear on our Featured Contributor spot on the home page when content is new to the site.
