2012 sees Action Medical Research celebrate their 60th year of supporting research into children's disease and illness. Team quiz max 4 players per team. £10 per team entry Team prize for the winners, runners up and third place. Raffle to win a gallon of beer!

2012 sees Action Medical Research celebrate their 60th year of supporting research into children's disease and illness. AMR only receive money from donations and from support-ers who raise money for them. Their funding has helped with, amongst other things, the po-lio vaccine, ultra-sound scanning, and most recently the fetal heart monitor that has saved the life of many premature babies.

In 2011 Mike Hughes raised £3018 for AMR with a cycle ride from York to Paris. This money helped towards two grants totalling over £230,000 for research into a vaccine for meningitis. Your support at this event will raise money for the 2012 campaign. 2012 will see 3 epic fundraising cycle rides: Liverpool to Lille (1-6 July), York 100 (19 August), and the 109km, 11,000ft climb of the L’Etape Alpine Challenge (8 September).
