You’ll be working within a successful virtual Team. 

In joining forwardladies.com, you will play a crucial role in implementing the customer acquisition strategy and increasing the reach of digital marketing campaigns to drive sales revenue via multiple advertising platforms. The successful candidate will have experience in PPC, Social Media advertising and Affiliate partnerships and have a proactive approach to sourcing new advertising methods. 

You will be responsible for the creation, optimisation & day to day CPC/CPA budget management of performance marketing campaigns, including;

 

• Pay-Per-Click advertising through Google Adwords

• Social Media Marketing using Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter

• Affiliate Marketing

• Behavioural Retargeting

• Basket Retargeting

• Display / Pre targeting

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the forwardladies.com team, the UK’s largest and most inclusive women’s membership organisation, as an Editorial Manager.

You’ll be working within a successful virtual Team. 

In joining forwardladies.com, you will play a crucial role in developing the newly created position of Editorial Manager. This position would suit someone who is experienced and looking for fresh, flexible and more purpose-driven work and has a passion for diversity and inclusion and an interest in digital content creation. 

We are going through an exciting new phase and need experienced hands to take us on this journey. In addition, we are looking to build an in-house editorial team as content plays a big part in our standing as a community for women and thought leaders in the diversity and inclusion space.

This role reports to the managing editor and has a particular focus on managing the forwardladies.com website. The focus will be on covering relevant news articles relevant to our female and employer audiences. 

You will publish research papers, inspirational feature stories, survey analysis and opinion pieces, individual case studies, thought leadership articles, using our surveys and membership for stories and features, newsletters etc. You will need to manage our contributors and generate feature ideas. 

You will also be expected to attend relevant webinars and conferences from time to time.

In addition, you will support our CEO with our internal PR – building press lists and liaising with key contacts.This is a new role in the business and one that we’re excited about. 

The ideal candidate will have experience: 

  1. A degree in journalism or English, or demonstrable alternative experience and aptitude
  2. A strong sense of what’s newsworthy and topical to women and employers 
  3. The ability to write clearly and accurately and to be able to digest information quickly
  4. Strong editorial skills, including writing, sub-editing and using a digital content management system (CMS)
  5. Experience writing newsletters 
  6. The ability to work independently
  7. The ability to create and manage content and editorial creation, sign-off and publishing processes
  8. An understanding of SEO techniques, including use of keywords, menus, tags and other
  9. metadata to optimise pages for search, so content is easy and intuitive to find and navigate
  10. A creative, collaborative and enthusiastic attitude 
  11. A good home IT set-up is essential, with broadband.
  12. Familiarity with Word Press

Role: Executive Assistant & Business Manager to CEO

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Location: Home-based, Part-time, Flexible

Primary Responsibilities will include;

  • Manage the diary, organise and schedule meetings for the CEO.
  • Book business travel arrangements, including flights, transportation, and accommodation.
  • Document and presentation creation 
  • Prepare meeting agendas, perform research ahead and take minutes during meetings if required.
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with corporate clients and members.
  • Manage projects and follow-up with team members where needed.
  • Inbox support and managing multiple email inboxes
  • Client management and onboarding clients 
  • Dealing with member enquiries
  • Organising and leading virtual events (large and small) and working very closely with stakeholders to realise the vision of events 
  • Booking speakers, updating website with events 
  • Performing other event related duties as assigned by management
  • Experience in copyright for email marketing, social media management and blog posts
  • Working closely with Marketing to help finalise copywriting and creating visual awareness for social media 
  • Maintainance of Client Relationship Management (CRM)

  1. The successful candidate will come from a professional background and have excellent digital and communication skills to meet deadlines as an EA to the CEO.

Role: Corporate Sales Executive  

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience plus commission 

Location: Home-based, Part-time, Flexible

Primary Responsibilities will include;

  • The Corporate Sales Executive is a commercial role, and your first responsibility is to meet and/or exceed revenue targets
  • You will be selling corporate memberships, sponsorships and training courses tod large organisations 
  • You will prospect, identify and develop new sales opportunities from inception through to closure, constantly tracking leads through the process. 
  • You will establish long term relationships with clients to ensure that Forward Ladies is their chosen provider for their diversity and inclusion solutions.
  • You will research opportunities for developing new profitable business campaigns 
  • Liaising with journalist and designers to create targeted niche campaigns 
  • Liaising with key opinion leaders, influencers and organisations

Desired Skills;

The successful candidate will come from a professional background and 

  • 3+ year of proven business to business sales experience, 
  • A self-starter, commercially driven, results-focused
  • Candidates must be experienced, enthusiastic with demonstrable success in delivering to sales targets
  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • To be successful in the sales process, it is paramount that the ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of the marketing, the client’s needs and which FL offering in our portfolio will match the clients’ needs and expectations
  • The ideal candidate must be used to working to targets under high-pressure situations and deadlines
  • Strategic and financial competence is a must 
  • Planning and organisation skills are also a must 
  • A confident and flexible person who has strong attention to detail and is self-motivated, willing to be flexible in accomodating the needs of the business.
