FL Leadership Summit and Awards 2022 Highlights
With this year’s theme being “unstoppable women”, we celebrated women who are showing exceptional leadership abilities in their teams, challenging and breaking glass ceilings and uplifting communities across the entire UK and globe. These women are changing the world with their craft, talents, creativity, eloquence, leadership and impacting generations all around the world.
The FL Leadership and Summit Awards brought together women from all fields, organizations, industries and backgrounds to discuss their journeys and careers and celebrate their exceptional leadership. We brought together carefully curated expert panels, as well as industry-leading speakers to share thoughts on how we create a safer, healthier and more gender-balanced working environment for all.

Panel Discussion on: How Neurodiversity is affecting women
The FL Leadership Summit & Awards brought together leading women to talk about their experiences as neuro-divergent women in the workplace. They shared the journey to their late diagnoses of autism and dyslexia and how the knowledge gave them insight into struggles faced at work and helped them leverage their strengths as leaders.

The FL Awards also brought together, Unstoppable Next Gen Leaders, Hannah Duraid, a Multi-Award-Winning young entrepreneur behind the escape room attraction, The Great Escape Game and Georgia Henry, Head of Publishing at ROCKET: Award-Winning Youth & Parents Marketing to discuss their journeys to becoming Next Gen Female Leaders in their respective fields of work. They also shared how the Next Generation can prepare to be Unstoppable in the future.

Joanna Jensen is the Founder & Executive Chairman of the UK’s number one baby and children’s toiletry brand, Childs Farm.
Business Woman of the Year 2022 - Sheridan Ash
Sheridan was awarded the Social Impact award and crown the overall Businesswoman of the year at the FL Leadership Summit and Awards 2022.
Sheridan has two major roles. Leader in Technology Innovation at PwC, and Founder and Co-CEO of charity Tech She Can. Sheridan set up the charity to improve career opportunities in technology for children and women. She’s a thought-leader on technological innovation and its contribution to productivity in the UK.
Closing Remarks by Griselda Togobo, CEO, Forward Ladies
Griselda delivered the closing remarks for the awards. She shared her inspiration behind organising the FL Leadership Summit and Awards. Griselda is extremely passionate about positively impacting the future of women and girls in the workforce. Griselda joined Forward Ladies as a member and was hooked.
